PES Files Use In Industrial Automatic Embroidery

Many people love to embroider as it is an enjoyable activity. In fact, it can be so addictive that people may spend so much time in front of their machine. Today there are various embroidery designs. Many of them are already digitized. Embroidery design digitizing has opened the possibility of industrial automatic embroidery. Computerized embroidery sewing machines are on the latest trend. The increased sales in embroidery design are winning the hearts of people.

When digitizing an embroidery design, one uses a digitizing software. Some sewing machines like Brother sewing machine or Babylock and Bernina home embroidery machines come with the design software. The files created using the software have File Extension PES. Files with File Extension PES are Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) files that contain instructions for creating embroideries with a sewing machine; includes codes such as “stop,” “jump,” and “trim”. Files with File Extension PES can be opened and viewed by various sewing programs such as Designer’s Gallery StudioPlus, Embird Suite, Buzz Tools BuzzXplore or BuzzEdit, S & S Computing SewWhat! or Threadsmith Format Foundry. Some programs are free while others are available on a trial basis. A quick query of a search engine will present you with the official websites of these software companies.
